Dear Sir or Madam,

Since it was set up in February 2004, the Aiguille en Fête exhibition has set itself the task of welcoming everyone whose hobby, profession or passion encompasses the world of needlecraft…

From the creative art to industrial production, from craftsmanship to retail trade and including teaching, art and publishing, our event attempts to refine its vision of the world of needlecraft a little more each year. In fact, year after year, we make an effort to offer a programme that is more and more ambitious, whether this is in terms of topics, exhibitions, workshops, involvement from French or foreign businesses etc.

And therefore, at the 5th Aiguille en Fête, due to be held from 6 to 9 March 2008, we shall be welcoming Japan, including its culture, some of its great artists, a selection of craftsmen and some of its specialised boutiques.

By asking the prestigious Grande Halle de La Villette – which has just seen the completion of its grand-scale restoration work – to host our event, we are showing our great desire to be, more than ever before, THE international event for needlecraft enthusiasts.

Professionals from Holland, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Belgium, the United States and of course Japan have already chosen to come and exhibit their products and their latest creations at the Aiguille en Fête exhibition.
